Keeping itself in the league once again, Lamborghini has come up with a unique idea wherein the company will be producing a gold plated Lamborghini. The car will be priced at $ 7.5 million and is being billed as the costliest ever car to be produced.
An interesting fact associated with this gold decked Lamborghini will be that the car would not be plated in gold but will be carved from a 500 kg block of gold. Around 25 kg of gold would be used in the car taking the value of gold and other accessories to be around $2.64 million.
The car is being designed to make it a head turner in the real sense. The car would be sold through the auction process and the base price has been fixed to be $7.5 million. A significant amount of $650,000 would be donated to charity from the total profit made by selling the car.
A real life model of the car has been on display in Dubai and is attracting much attention from probable buyers. The car is likely to be custom made according to the preference of the buyer.
